The Chicago Bulls are currently up in the first round of the playoffs against the Boston Celtics, 2-1. They have won the past two games in Boston, and show no sign of letting up the intensity. The next two playoff games are in Chicago, and the Bulls are hopeful to sweep the Celtics on their home court.

Rajon Rondo has been stepping up his game as of late, and has shown why he is a four time all-star. In game two, the team was led by the two newcomers to the team, Dwyane Wade and Rondo Wade led the team in scoring with 22 points and Rondo led the team in both assists with 14 and rebounds with nine. Rondo was a triple double machine when he used to be with the Celtics, and he has show glimpses of it throughout the season. In the playoffs, Rondo has been in full form and has turned the clock back with two great games so far in the postseason. However, he is unable to play in game three because of a fractured thumb.

Robin Lopez and Jimmy Butler are two of the best players in the league right now and with the roll the Bulls are on, there is no way they can be stopped. Senior Reece Eldridge is hopeful for the Bulls and is excited to see how they will fare later in the playoffs.

“I hope to see the Bulls sweep the Celtics in this series,” Eldridge said. “Jimmy Butler is finally getting the support he needs to be the leader of a successful team.”

The Bulls play again tonight in Chicago; they hope to take a 3-0 lead on the Celtics and then finish them off in game four on Sunday.
