Girls Volleyball Travels to Burlington

After a long bus ride, the lady Sequoits took on Burlington Central and won with strong all around play.

Sequoit volleyball girls celebrate their win as their season comes to an end.

On Tuesday, October 18, the girls volleyball team traveled to Burlington Central and pulled away with a victory with strong offensive and defensive play. In the first match, the lady Sequoits came out strong and got a victory 25-17. As the second match begun, the Sequoits did not miss a beat and finished Burlington Central off with a 25-21 victory.

The lady Sequoits came out hot and did not cool off before getting a big road victory.

“Our captains really got us pumped up,” junior Kennedy Moll said. “They’ve been doing a good job of this all season.”

For the Sequoits, it was an all around strong performance offensively and defensively.

“We started out with a lot of momentum in the first game,” Moll said. “All of that momentum carried into the second match.”

The lady Sequoits had a strong start and an even stronger finish, this has the girls excited as the season comes to the final stretch.
