The Antioch field hockey team traveled out to Loyola Academy to face the Ramblers on their home turf. The Sequoits played a very good first half, and at halftime the game was tied 0-0. Although letting up only two goals in the second half, the Sequoits played a very good match overall.

“We [the team] have a great bond,” freshman Mikayla Hollway said. “Everybody loves each other on this team.”

By having a strong bond with teammates, the Sequoits know their teammates have their backs no matter what.

During pre-game, the Sequoits were loose and in a very happy mood to play Thursday.

A key factor to the Sequoits playing style is their speed.

“Our speed is one of our assets,” head coach Terry Dewing said.

The Sequoits were very fast and strong with the ball on Thursday, but the goals just did not go the Sequoits way. Nonetheless, the Sequoits are always practicing and getting ready for their next opponent.
