There’s nothing more exciting than picking out and creating a unique and creative costume for Halloween. No matter if it’s a party, trick-or-treating or another festive event, a fantastic costume is a necessity. Money and time are not things that need to be put into a great costume. This Halloween season, affordable and easy costumes are the way to go and are more popular than ever. Here are just a few ideas for Do-It-Yourself Halloween costumes.

1. A Sweet, Simple but Fierce Tiger

This adorable outfit is nothing more than a trendy little dress with a few touch ups. All that is needed is a pair of orange ears, some type of black utensil to draw details on  and a dress of personal preference that best fits. If this idea seems a little too challenging and gets a bit overwhelming, cutting slits into an orange t-shirt will also make for the perfect tiger.

2. A Smurf

Want to be something classic and funny this Halloween? A smurf is an excellent and easy idea! A blue body suit, a chef’s hat and white clothes are the only things necessary for this awesome costume. Little effort and money have the capability to come up with something great, like this costume.

3. Barbie and Ken

When looking for a couples idea for a Halloween costume, this one is very basic and simple, yet still classic. When you’re “Made of plastic, it’s fantastic!”

4. “Despicable Me” Minion

Nothing is more adorable than the hilarious little yellow minions in the sweet and hysterical film “Despicable Me.” Other than the average pair of jeans, yellow socks and yellow t-shirt, black suspenders and big goggles are all that’s needed for this adorable costume. Try out this creative idea and get a smile from everyone that passes.
