On Monday, Feb. 15 the 58th annual Grammys awards were held. Kendrick Lamar swept the hip-hop categories, Adele gave an outstanding performance and Justin Bieber, Diplo and Skrillex blew just about everyone away.

Taylor Swift made Grammy history by becoming the first female ever to win the Album of the Year twice. After accepting the trophy she gave a powerful speech which was directed to females everywhere struggling in the battle to succeed.

Twitter took storm over the speech; the ongoing “beef” between hip-hop artist Kanye West and Taylor Swift just became a whole lot bigger. After the 2009 MTV Music Awards incident between the two, Kanye then went to put explicit lyrics into one of his songs, which then blew up in his face the other night.

“I want to say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.” Swift said during her acceptance speech. There is no doubt that Kanye will end up coming back at her. For now Twitter users will make sure that their notifications will be turned on for each for each account in hopes for more drama.426706-taylor-swift-and-kanye-west
