To make this sweet and salty treat, you will need: 2 cups crushed pretzels, ¾ cup melted butter, 1 cup and 3 tablespoons white sugar, 1 (8 ounce) package softened cream cheese, 1 (8 ounce) thawed container frozen whipped topping, 2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jello, 2 cups boiling water and 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries.

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.

Step 2: Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and three tablespoons.

Step 3: Press mixture into the bottom on a 9×13 inch baking dish. Try and press the mixture up on the sides of the pan a little bit to secure the next layer.

Step 4: Bake the pretzels for eight – ten minutes. Set aside to cool.

Step 5: In a large mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese and one cup sugar.

Step 6: Fold in whipped topping and spread mixture on cooled crust.

Step 7: Follow directions on the gelatin while mixing in the still frozen strawberries. Allow to set briefly.

Step 8: Once the mixture is about the consistency of egg whites, pour and spread over cream cheese layer and let set.
