Movie Review: Disney Pixar’s “Coco”

Disney’s newest movie, “Coco” is captivating the minds of all ages.

Disney Pixar’s newest movie “Coco” came out this November. The story is about a young boy following his passion for music in the real world and in the world of the dead. He is faced with many challenges, whether it’s from his love for music or the beliefs of his family.

Movie critics have been raving over the movie for the unique story line, the adorable characters, and the beautiful colors and scenes animated within it. The movie has received 97% on the Rotten Tomatoes scale and continues to grow in popularity as the months goes by.

Although I’m not a movie critic, I am a movie lover, and I was so excited to see “Coco”. The movie, in my opinion, lives up to all the hype that it was given and I’m entirely obsessed with the characters and how beautiful it was. The amount of detail in the movie was so precise and stunning and added so much more to the movie than I thought. I loved they incorporated iconic hispanic figures, like Frida Kahlo, into the movie as well. For an animated film, it felt true to real life.

One thing I loved about the movie was how beautiful it was to watch. With the colors, the dancing and singing, even the plot itself was produced amazingly and it made get lost in the film. Even though the film is geared towards a younger audience, the theater was filled with families of all ages.
