There seems to be a new trend pretty much every week among high school students. This week on “Talking Trends” the talk is about the latest digital trend: the “tbh” app. This is an app where students all over the country can create an account and anonymously vote on different characteristics for each of their peers. As far as I can tell, there are no particularly negative comments given to people. In my opinion, this app has actually helped boost confidence because when you get to see all the positive comments that other people within the school are making about you, it makes you feel good about being recognized.

“It’s just a good and funny app for us to use in our free time, there isn’t anything bad to say,” sophomore Morgan Meisinger said.

The only problem with this type of app are the “what ifs” that will come along with it. What if they create a tbr (to be rude) app? What if someone figures out this comment was from me? With every good thing there will always be underlying problems that can pop up, but for now this seems to be a pretty good app.
