Megan Taugner is a life resource management teacher and a foods teacher. Taugner is hoping to have a good connection with her stundets and is excited for what this year brings.

Megan Taugner is a recent graduate of Illinois State University. She teaches the food and fitness and life resource management classes at Antioch Community High School.

She wanted to work at Antioch Community High School when she saw the job opening. She had heard good things about the school from her close friend in college, who used to be a student at ACHS.

“I am passionate about connecting with my students and having a good relationship with them,” Taugner said. “I feel like having real-world relationships is really important in and outside the classroom.”

Having a connection and a good relationship with her students is something she looks forward to as a new teacher. Taugner is excited about her new experiences at Antioch and looking forward to what’s to come.
