There are many tasty candies that are available in the U.S., but some would argue that there are even better international candies that are not available in the states. Most of the candies can be bought through Amazon, but cannot be found in any candy shop in America. Here is a list of the top five candies that the U.S. is missing out on.
- Kinder Egg
The Kinder Egg is an Italian brand of egg-shaped candies containing a toy inside. They are mostly popular in Europe and are one of their most popular candies. In The U.S., the FDA banned them from being sold due to the potential hazard for choking on the toys.
- Japanese Kit-Kats
In Japan, they have more than just the regular Kit Kat flavors. They have matcha tea, mango, peach and wasabi flavored Kit-Kats. The only assortment of flavors found in the United States is the milk and white chocolate flavors.
- Pascall Pineapple Lumps
These tasty treats are a chocolate covered treat with a soft, chewy pineapple flavored middle. They are also known as Kiwiana. These treats are most popularly sold in New Zealand. As many New Zealanders would agree, these treats are like heaven. These candies can be ordered online through Amazon.
- Tunnock’s Tea Cakes
Tunnock’s Tea Cakes are one of Scotland’s most famous candy. They’re made of shortbread, covered in marshmallow and chocolate, so every bite is something soft and sweet. These candies are also available through Amazon.
- Nestle Aero Peppermint Bar
This product was launched around the 70s in The United Kingdom, and quickly became one of their top selling flavors. The bar is mostly known for its unique bubble shape and texture that includes a fluffy mint center that is covered in milk chocolate. These candies are also sold in Canada.
