There are many brands of colognes in the world and people have preferences about how they want to smell, but each cologne can make others have different reactions. Colognes can range anywhere from a strong musky smell, meant for the guys who like to be noticed from across the hall, to a nice subtle smell. The five scents that I have put on this list are, in my opinion, the best for any guy. All these are subtle smells that can last all day.

  1. Versace Man – Eau Fraîche

This cologne is strong smelling and will get you compliments and questions on what it is. A person could wear it at a classier event. I do not suggest making it a daily wear due to its high price of 110 dollars.

  1. Montblanc – Legend

I would definitely say this is my favorite out of all because it gives a fresh and clean scent to whoever puts it on. It will definitely get many compliments. People have claimed that this cologne is one of the best on the market, especially for its price which ranges (40 to 90 dollars depending on the bottle size). However, I would say that it is not an everyday wear. It would smell the best on a nice cool day or during winter time; on hot days it could get a little overpowering, but if that’s what you’re looking for, then this is the cologne for you.

  1. DIOR – Sauvage

Sauvage by DIOR is definitely a high pick. This has more of an elegant type of smell, so put this cologne on when going to more classy scenes. A date would definitely be a place where I would wear this cologne. It could be worn as a daily wear scent but after a while,  you may not want to wear it because of its price tag of 77 dollars and 89 cents.

  1. Jean Paul Gaultier – Le Male

This cologne gives off a nice, fresh, sweet smell that could easily be used for any occasion. Many times, I’ve noticed it on people from the adult crowd, but this scent is definitely one that will get you noticed around the corner before people even know you’re there. Jean Paul is well known for his fashion, but his cologne line is known as well and can definitely be used for daily wear as it only costs 40 dollars.

  1. Chanel – Allure Homme Sport

This one is a great scent: nice and fresh for any occasion. However, it does have a hefty price, starting at 95 dollars and can possibly get up to 155 dollars. The bottle is well worth the price and won’t leave you disappointed. I would say this cologne is definitely for a guy who likes to push the limits.

These colognes are in my top five. I love the scent each gives off. Each has a nice fresh scent but can still leave some room for a masculine aura. They won’t disappoint.
