ACHS Gets Pumped Up for Spring

Color wars, watermelon and a real life game of hungry, hungry hippos.

On Friday, the Cardinal Crazies and Antioch Community High School kicked off the season with the 2015 spring sports and activities pep rally.

The assembly featured all varsity spring sports, including girls soccer, varsity track, boys volleyball, baseball and softball. The event continued to feature other students, such as Mr. Talent, senior Nathan Almaria, who performed a singing and dancing duet with Mr. ACHS, senior Andre Rivera.

There was a multitude of fun-filled activities and games such as a watermelon eating contest and the original Y-E-L-L chant competition between the classes. It was also proudly announced that senior Heather Beckman was the 2014-2015 Sequoia Queen, as she was escorted onto the floor by Mr. ACHS.
