Community High School District 117 administration announced at 4 p.m. that school will be closed both Monday, Jan.27 and Tuesday, Jan. 28 due to extreme weather. Temperatures will be below zero both days with wind chills reaching -20 and colder depending on the time of day.
On Twitter, Antioch Community High School Principal Bradford Hubbard encouraged all students to remain safe and warm over the next two days.
Students should try and remain inside in a warm place to avoid any health issues that could be related to the severe cold.
