Germany is known for Oktoberfest, with all the food, parties and drinking. German Club recently celebrated Oktoberfest at the House of Gerhard in Kenosha, Wisconsin. German teacher Danielle Katz and the rest of the officers from German Club planed an evening of singing, dancing and tons of food.

“We got there, then we were greeted by great service. We then at great food, sang, and then danced,” said Secretary Joe Haras. All of the members enjoyed themselves as the club sang song like “Schnitzelbank” and “Rote Pferd.”

Even though there was a large turnout, President Meghan Petrowski said the club could use more members “Everybody loves food, everybody loves dancing and we can never have enough members.”

German Club is scheduling a possible trip to the Kriskringlemarket in Chicago, Illinois.
