Shown at the CES in Las Vegas, Immersit is a new motion device that has already raised over $131,000 on Kickstarter. The device was created by French entrepreneur Valentin Fage, and is specifically designed for each movie and video game with built-in sensors and a motion code. The device controls how a sofa (or other piece of furniture) moves and vibrates by transmitting a motion code to the device. The connecting devices range from Blu-Ray and DVD players, to online or offline streaming sources.

Immersit’s database currently has over 1,000 movies and 300 games, but users of Immersit are also able to create and upload their own codes for movies and games, so the database is always expanding.

Also, Immersit is pet friendly because of it’s four pads that have motion sensors that can detect anything that crawls underneath. If something is detected, then the Immersit will shut down. It is currently priced at $750 on Kickstarter, but will be priced significantly higher once it is commercially released.
