Marissa Grant signed to CMU with her fellow supporters’ approval.

Following in both of her sister’s footsteps, senior Marissa Grant signed her name to be a part of the Central Michigan University volleyball team.

The father hung a CMU banner above the ACHS logo in the main conference room to demonstrate the transition Grant will be taking during the fall of 2015.

Grant signed three different pages stating her name and time she committed to CMU, with her parents, administration and her oldest sister Lauren in attendance.

M. Grant said, “I verbally committed to CMU the summer after my sophomore year, and it took so much stress off of my shoulders. It makes everything a lot more fun and worry free knowing I had everything worked out already. Now that I have officially signed, it makes the whole process that much better! I am most excited to be around the girls at CMU, because they are all so nice and treat me like a family, and I cannot wait to be able to spend my 4 years of college with girls I will know for the rest of my life. Just being at CMU will be amazing though, because the campus is just the right fit for me. Although, I have not decided on my major.”
