Sophomore Jesus Vasquez spends his lunch period painting the Antioch logo on rocks during makerspace on Monday. Makerspace is an opportunity for artists to create structured works of art during their lunch periods.

Lauren Whitaker is a senior at Antioch Community High School and this is her first year on the Sequoia staff. As a new member she hopes to improve her photography skills and experience the school from a different angle. Her interests include playing the cello in the school orchestra, spending time with friends and shopping.
