“Bake Sale” by Wiz Khalifa, featuring Travis Scott, was unexpectedly dropped on Jan. 21.

Originally, this song was supposed to drop a long time ago, but rapper G Eazy purchased the rights to the original beat before Wiz Khalifa could. Because of this, TM88, Juicy J, Lex Luger, DJ Spinz, and Crazy Mike produced a new beat for “Bake Sale”. Many Wiz Khalifa fans were outraged when they heard that G Eazy took the original beat from “Bake Sale” for his song “Order More”, but they were not disappointed when they heard the new version of “Bake Sale”.

Junior at Antioch Community High School, John Howe said, “At first I was really upset when I heard a new version of “Bake Sale” was being created because I didn’t think it would be as good as the original. But after the new version dropped, I actually ended up liking it more than the original. I feel like the producers did a good job of making a new beat, and I also liked how Juicy J was included in the new version because I love Juicy J.”

Along with the releasing of “Bake Sale”, Wiz Khalifa is working on a new album that will be called “Khalifa”, which will be expected to drop sometime soon. Wiz is also said to be working on a new mix tape called “Rolling Papers 2″. This will be expected to drop later in the year.

Senior at Antioch Community High School, Jatiyah Childs said, “I am very excited for Wiz Khalifa to release his new album and mix tape. I loved “Bake Sale” and felt that it was very catchy. I can’t wait to see what else Wiz has in store!”

Even though Wiz Khalifa hit a few bumps in the road when creating “Bake Sale”, the song still turned out to be a huge success, which is leaving all of his fans highly anticipating what is coming up next.
