SuperBowl 50 Preview

The lead up to Superbowl 50

This Sunday, Feb. 7, the Denver Broncos will face off against the Carolina Panthers in Superbowl 50. This Superbowl compared to others, will definitely be one to watch. Key word, one.

Both teams have been incredibly successful this year, each team in different ways. The Carolina Panthers have dominated on the offensive side of the ball, having the number one offense this season, while the Denver Broncos have been the biggest nightmare for offenses around the league with their number one defense.

Cam Newton, the starting quarterback for the Panthers and the front-runner for the MVP award is trying to begin his legacy. Being the number one overall pick in the 2011 draft, Newton is still trying to live up to the expectations that come with that. With that being said, Peyton Manning, another former number one overall draft pick and the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, is trying to end his legacy with raising his second Lombardi trophy.

On top of these number one drafted QB’s going head to head, both teams are number one seeds in their division. This will surely be a Superbowl to watch, while both teams go head to head in Santa Clara, California at the new 49ers stadium.
