Veteran’s Day Filled with Testing and Speaking

Veterans+Day+Filled+with+Testing+and+Speaking

On Friday, Nov. 8, students at Antioch Community High School will have a busy morning of testing. From 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., freshmen will take the EXPLORE test. From 7:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m., sophomores will take the PLAN test and juniors will take the practice ACT test.

Seniors will not be testing and do not need to come to school until 11:15 a.m.

After testing takes place, students will go to their fourth, fifth and sixth period classes. Each class will be reduced to 40 minutes, instead of the full 50. At 1:30 p.m. until the end of the school day, all students will watch a presentation about substance abuse. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will report to their third period classrooms. Seniors will go to the auditorium.

Students should bring a form of identification, at least two #2 pencils with erasers and an approved calculator.
