“You Make A Difference” Honors Hardworking Students

Monthly award draws crowd of students, parents for recognition breakfast.

There is no doubt that Antioch Community High School has students that make a difference every single day. On March 10, the high school held a monthly “You Make A Difference” breakfast for certain students who were nominated and their parents.

To earn a “You Make A Difference” Award, someone needs to do exactly that: make a difference. Teachers and faculty members nominate students for something that they excelled in or stood out for. The awards can range from from athletics to academics and overall being helpful.

Junior Jordan Hart was a recipient of a “You Make A Difference” Award this month for being involved in Student Ambassadors and helping out with eighth grade registration night. Hart was not the only one to help out with this event; the list was long, an impressive feat for the school.

“It felt good to help others, and to know that the incoming freshman are able to be involved possibly to the help I gave them,” Hart said.
