The cheerleading squad added a second set of tryouts this year. They will be held Oct. 28 and 29 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This has been a first in many years where the team is holding tryouts due to team members leaving and people being injured early in the season. Competition season is approaching fast and adding more members as soon as possible is crucial.
The squad distributed flyers around the school in order to get the attention of the students.
Team additions will be selected Oct. 29 and practices for the new additions will begin Oct. 31. The tryout packets can be printed from www.achscheer.com and should be turned in on the first day of tryouts.
