Finding new recipes can be hard for some people, especially a healthy one that also tastes good. But there are many recipes out there that are great tasting and still healthy to eat. An example is this cauliflower bake — it’s a dish that’s tasty and one that families will love.

Ingredients:

1 (3 pound) head of cauliflower, cut into large florets

Salt for cooking the cauliflower

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of flour

1 cup of milk

1/4 teaspoon of dry yellow mustard

8 ounces of cheddar cheese

What To Do

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook the cauliflower in a large pot of salted water. It should only take about five to six minutes to cook fully.

While it is cooking, make the cheese sauce. Start by melting two tablespoons of butter in a small sauce pan. Next, add the flour, and stir for one to two minutes. Slowly add the milk, and it should start to thicken up. Then, add in the dry yellow mustard and stir well.

Once everything is combined together, add four ounces of cheese and stir until it is fully melted. Place the cauliflower into a baking dish and pour the sauce on top. The remaining four ounces of cheese gets sprinkled on top of the cauliflower and sauce.

Bake the dish for 15 minutes. When the cheese turns slightly brown, that means it is done. Let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes, and enjoy.
