Easing the Day’s Stress

Students find music to be the easiest way to relieve their stresses of the day.

High school can be a crazy place with all the sports, classes and extracurricular activities. Most activities will require the dedication of time and emotions, then when a students patience runs out, their emotions can run a muck. Finding the right methods to relieve their moods is most important for many students.

Junior Robert Garrity said, “Music helps relieves the stress.”

When Garrity is mad or angry at something during the day, he says that he likes to stay secluded.

Some students like Garrity only get these kinds of bad moods a few times a week, whereas others like junior Josh Malak get them more often.

“I like to listen to music,” said Malak when he is stressed between classes. After school Malak said he likes to workout at home.

For most students music is a readily available resource to relieve stress, and the weight deck provides another stress reliever, but each will find their own way of relieving the moods that arise during the day.
