Lineup for Summerfest 2017 Finally Released

From rock and roll to country artists, Summerfest 2017 has a show to put on to celebrate a big milestone.

Since 1968, Summerfest has been coming to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and this year it is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The lineup of who is performing was just set. Summerfest is an event that is held from June 28, 2017 through July 6, 2017, but is closed on July 3rd. The concert is held at Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee.

The lineup for Summerfest headliners includes:

June 28- Red Hot Chili Peppers

June 29- Luke Bryan

July 1- Zac Brown Band

July 2- Pink

July 5-6- Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with special guest Chris Stapleton

For fans getting ready for Summerfest 2017, tickets are available at the amphitheater or online. The general admission for a day pass is $20.00, for a three day pass it is $48.00 and for an eleven day pass, it is $90.00.

Last year, Sequoits were among the 850,000 attendees of the festival.

“It was an adventurous time with my friends,” senior Madison Zoot said.

“It’s about what this festival continues to offer to our community of beloved fans decade after decade,” Summerfest.com said. “Whatever your favorite Summerfest memory is, there won’t be a better time to relive it, or make a few more, than at our 50th celebration in 2017.”

This concert is a enjoyable time to share with friends, family or strangers who love the same music and to make memories that can be cherish for a lifetime.
