MTV Star Diem Brown Defeated by Cancer

Diem Brown, commonly known for being on the MTV reality TV show, “The Challenge,” died of cancer on Friday, Nov. 14 at the age of 32. For many years, Brown battled Ovarian cancer and several other cancers as she got progressively more sick over the years.

Brown was known as a spirited and loving person on and off screen. She was a peace maker and remained peaceful until the day she died.

Brown was known to have upcoming chemotherapy on Nov. 18, but was struggling in her fight.

“I want people to know the fight was worth it,” Brown told People Magazine only a few weeks before passing.

After having surgery in late October, she referred to her surgery as a “dark, dark, dark, dark place.” However, she kept fighting for her life until the end.

Brown remained determined to beat the cancer consuming her. She tweeted “Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option.” Unfortunately, Brown died three days later, but in peace as she “threw in her two pennies” after her last prayer before passing.

Brown’s death is a loss that will be mourned by all her friends, family, and fans. Her last giving advice was to “live life vigorously,” take her wise words as to live life to the fullest.
