The Varsity boys golf team competed in their fourth match of the season on Tuesday, September 6.

They went head-to-head against the Wauconda Bulldogs, claiming a 174-183 victory, improving their 1-2 record to 2-2.

Senior captain Reece Eldridge has shot well all season, being a consistent top finisher for the boys.

“The season if off to a shaky start as we are 1-2 through our first few matches. However, we have many more matches to go so we can still win conference,” Eldridge said.“Everyone on our team has the ability to shoot well, but it is rare that everyone will get similar scores on the same day. If we could find a way to be more consistent, our team could be very good.”

If the boys keep up the hard work and consistency, the NLCC better watch out.
