Giving blood may seem painful and scary, but the lives it saves makes it all worth it. One person giving blood can save up to three other lives. Someone needs blood every two seconds.
Life Source will return March 21 for the spring blood drive. Gym classes will be seeing the blood drive presentation today March 17, where they will be able to sign up to give blood. Family members and community members are also invited to sign up to come donate blood during the day on Friday.
Life Source requires a blood donor to be 16 years old with parental permission. Potential donors who are 17 and older can donate blood as long as they weigh at least 110 lbs.
