The ’70s is a vintage yet boho style. It includes features like collared shirts and long dresses. The boho type has long pants and headbands.

According to Central Casting, the ’70s style is more than hippie type clothes and fitted shirts. The ’70s was an era of many different styles, such as layered tops with bell-bottom jeans and chunky platform shoes; these outfits are a big staple of both the ’70s and now.

Furthermore, any type of sweater with skirts or jeans paired with low top sneakers or knee-high boots is another popular outfit for both men and women from the ’70s. Some consider this to be a very popular outfit in modern-day fashion.

Simple yet bold colors like blue, yellow, reds, pastels, beige and peach are colors people may like to wear.

Shoes are a big part of the outfit; in the ’70s, chunky, high boots and low top sneakers were very popular. These shoes are for everyday wear and can go with any outfit.

“I always pair outfits with white shoes to bring out the fabric color,” sophomore Cristian Romero said.

To stick with the ’70s style, shoes should match the color of the outfit, but should also match the theme of the outfit.

Adding accessories like headbands, bandanas, belts and jewelry can give any outfit character.

“I enjoy accessories like purses and belts, which were big in the ’70s,” sophomore Peyton Lyndon said.

Finding inspiration for outfits can be hard, but looking at Pinterest, Instagram or TikTok can help. These platforms have lots of different styles to choose from, but recently it is the ’70s style that is trending on these platforms.

Now that the ‘70s style is trending, this style may be seen on a bunch of people and in stores in the future.
