Win, Lose and Tie: The Antioch Invitational

Antioch Community High School’s Girls Varsity Soccer team played Glenbrook South at Lakes Community High School for day one of two of the Antioch Invite this past Friday, April 17. The girls lost their game against Glenbrook with a final score of 4-1.

The tournament continued Saturday with he first game at 9 a.m. against Lake Forest Academy. The Lady Sequoits tied 2-2. The second game of the day was at 11:30 a.m. versus Westosha Central High School. The girls won 4-0.

ACHS senior Haley Capek had a strong defensive play in all three games and helped keep the team motivated and concentrated.
