The girls had participated in a bowling tournament at Town and Country Lanes in Joliet, IL on December 9.

The Antioch girls bowling team played well on the Saturday, December 9 tournament. The girls placed fifth in the bronze division but felt they could have played better. The team is still very happy about how they played and what they contributed to their team.

Senior Samantha Knab was seven pins short from placing, and averaged 197 pins per game for the entire day.

In the Northern Lake County Conference, the girls are undefeated and have started the season off well.

“My goal for the team is to win conference like we did my freshman year (‘15-’16),” Knab said.

Knab feels the team also needs to work on picking up spares so that the team will be in better shape.

“We definitely need to work on picking up our spares, since we give away many pins on easy pick ups,” Knab said.

Watch your Antioch Sequoit bowlers at their next game on Monday, December 11 at Grayslake Central.
