In the Bad Boys Trilogy, the movies aren’t  just focused around a plot, but are also woven with comedy. In the movie Bad Boys for Life it is the best of both worlds, rated the highest of all the three Bad Boys. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the comedic duo, return for one last ride.

Detective Mike and Marcus are getting too old for the police force and need to retire. While Marcus agrees to leave, Mike wants to stay. Since they are getting older, one can expect classic ‘getting old’ jokes that come with age. In the movie, they stay away from classic ‘old’ jokes and show what original comedy is in this new take on the Bad Boys Trilogy.

Director, Michael Bay, does not fray away from having huge explosions, crazy car chases and awesome gun fights. Bay, having directed the past two Bad Boys movies, blew the audience away with the third and final movie of the trilogy.

In the first two films of Bad Boys, one of the most important things was having Lawrence in the spotlight. At the time, Smith was a comedian and Bay wanted to make Lawrence the comedian, with Smith as the rock – hard cop. As their friendship grew, so did their acting skills. Soon, Smith and Lawrence were able to be comedy partners and work together in their films.
