The newest horror movie released this year is the Invisible Man it follows the story of crazed boyfriend following his girlfriend.

The movie “The Invisible Man” was originally made in 1933. The remake of the movie has not disappointed many fans. The movie has earned a Rotten Tomato score of 91 percent and earned an audience score of 88 percent. The new Invisible Man has one of the highest rotten tomato ratings this year meaning critics rated it one of the highest this year. So far, it is also rated one of the highest by the audience.

The film starts at Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) boyfriend’s house. Kass’s boyfriend, Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), is a rich inventor, who loves to live in isolation. Kass hates Griffin and wants to get as far away from him as possible. She devises a plan to escape the house; in order to do this, she must disable all alarms, turn off the cameras and run as fast as possible. She forgets about one alarm and accidentally sets it off. She ends up escaping and staying with her friend James Lanier (Aldis Hodge). This friend is a cop and helps her as much as he can. She then hears the news that Griffin has killed himself. She has earned 5 million dollars, as long as she stays mentally stable and out of jail.

Kass starts to live with her friend but starts noticing odd things. She notices stuff going missing and sees weird things are happening to her, almost like someone is always following her. She ends up finally seeing the person who has been following her in the attic. It is Griffin, in a suit for invisibility. She starts to do crazy things because nobody else can see him or believe her. Griffin ends up killing Kass’s sister making the cops think Kass killed her own sister. She ends up being put in a psychiatric ward where she finds out she is pregnant with Griffin’s baby. She now knows that she is still alive because Griffin wants her baby. Kass creates a plan to kill Griffin; she pretends to kill herself (and the baby) which makes Griffin try to stop her; she ends up killing him now that she can see him. Although, after unmasking him she finds out it wasn’t Griffin, it was his brother, a crazy lawyer, after her money. Kass is still not convinced; Griffin was the culprit. Griffin was tied up in his basement, alive. She goes to his house and kills him to finish him off

I found this movie to be a very good horror movie. This movie is full of everything you want: mystery, jump scares and an amazing story line. It has earned great ratings from the audience and from Rotten Tomatoes. For me I think it is going to be one of the best movies of the year. I give this movie an 8.5 out of 10 for the great story and freaky jump scares.
