At 2:16 p.m., Antioch Community High School administration announced that the issue surrounding the inappropriate pornographic email that was sent two days ago is resolved. The email was sent under the pretense of another student, leading students and staff to assume incorrectly of the perpetrator.

In an email, dean Wilbur Borerro said, “it was through the hard work of many individuals that we caught the originator(s) of the email and relinquish any wrong doing by the person whose name appeared.”

While the issue of students being able to openly send emails to over the student list serve still exists, administration hopes to address it in the near future. Until then, students and staff are encouraged to keep a close eye on their log-in information. The email was sent using a Chromebook from a Chromebook cart. Borrero reminded students and staff that they “are responsible to log off the chrome books/computers each and every time you use them.  It is imperative that everyone does this so that we do not run into any further problems with our network.”
