Homecoming events started with a bang on Tuesday night with the freshman v. sophomore and junior v. senior powderpuff games. Powderpuff football is a homecoming week tradition that is always fun to attend for both students and parents. The activities began at 7:30 on the turf and kicked off with the underclassman game.

The sophomore girls played an incredible game while wearing purple and took down the freshman team with a final score of  31-0.

“I think my team did pretty well considering it was our first year playing,” freshman Bridget Nauman said. “It was so much fun and I’m looking forward to doing it again.”

The seniors in black also tried their best, but ultimately got shut out by the juniors after an intense game with a final score of 19-0.

“We played very fairly and it was a good game,” junior Rachel Phillips said. “We shook off bad plays and mistakes and put our best foot forward.”
