The varsity girl’s field hockey team squared off against Stevenson High School Thursday September 6, at the stadium and had high hopes for the game. The team had quite the season thus far, winning many games and going down to St. Louis for the Gateway Classic tournament. The team wants to continue getting closer while growing the team chemistry.

With a 2-1 win against Stevenson, the momentum kept the team rolling throughout the season. With the experience of Coach Terry Dewing and a strong work ethic from the team, the same common goal is to keep getting better and improving.

“We have been working very hard,” senior Ashley Hradisky said. “We have all grown as a team and have been working on our individual skills.”

Come support the team at their next home game against Lakes tonight, September 11, at 4:30 p.m.
