The Lady Sequoits continue to be dominant, most recently with a victory Thursday over North Chicago, 74-31.

This season follows an extremely successful season last year, and the team has goals that are more ambitious than ever before.

“We try to score at least 80 points a game,” senior Kelly Johnson said. “We are set on making it to State this year.”

Last year’s team was extremely successful, taking everyone by surprise when they made it to Super Sectionals.

“This year is much different; every team is ready to play us,” sophomore Jillian Everett said. “We have a target on our back and people know who we are.” 

This game put the girls at a 11-0 record for their season so far.
