After pulling a stunt to protest against California theme park Seaworld, stuntman and actor Stephen Glover, better known as Steve-O, has officially been sentenced to 30 days in the LA County jail.

Glover publicly announced the sentence in an Instagram post on Oct. 8.

Within the post, Glover claims, “Considering I’ve become a clean and sober, dog-rescuing vegan, I must say I’m ready to go to jail — not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of orcas in captivity, but because it’s nice to let people know I haven’t lost my edge.”

The stuntman did such a move in order to raise awareness of the gruesome captivity of killer whales as well as many other aquatic animals.  Glover is scheduled to go to jail in December for trespassing and using unauthorized fireworks at the Seaworld protest, as well as for creating a false emergency.
