Top Five College Softball Teams
Throughout the first few games of the season the Division I softball rankings came out as many thought they would.

The Florida Gators took the top spot on the women’s Division I softball polls.
1.University of Florida
The Gators came out strong in the 2017 season thus far. They came out with a huge victory over the highly regarded Michigan Wolverines to help improve their record to 5-0.
2. Auburn University
The Tigers got an early victory in the season against their rival, Oklahoma, helping lead their team to a 3-1 record.
3. University of Oklahoma
After starting out the season slower than usual, the Sooners got bug wins over BYU and Nebraska but still have a record of 2-2.
4. Florida State University
In their own home tournament, the Seminoles have came away five victories, giving them one of the best records thus far in Division I softball.
5. University of California Los Angeles
Also with one of the best records in softball, the Burins have came out hot and have not looked back after starting out the season 5-0, and beating Notre Dame.
