Junior Alexandria Knight has been on the Varsity track team since she was a freshman. Knight started her running career when she was in sixth grade, she was on the cross country and track and field team at Antioch Upper Grade School, and continued with the same sports into high school.

Knight usually runs in the distance races in track, but she participates in a few different events.

“I’m in the 4×8 and sometimes the 800,” Knight said.

Knight runs during her free time to keep active and in shape. For Knight, she has even more fun doing it with her friends.

“I sometimes train with people, but I don’t do much in the winter,” Knight said.

She has hopes to improve in the 800, so she can participate in the event more frequently.

“I want to get a 2:45 time in the 800,” Knight said.

To do this, Knight is working hard and training hard. Knight has high hopes for this upcoming track season and is continuing to be a better runner everyday.
