5+Best+Books+Youll+Ever+Read

Now a days most people Tweet, Instagram or post on social media as a way of having fun. What teenagers fail to realize is how much sitting down and reading a good book can relieve your stress. Books create a second world for most students, and let one self imagine a different place beyond your own thoughts.

The ACHS library is offering a reading program through February named the Abe Lincoln Book Program. There are 22 book nominations and if five are read then prizes can be won; if all the books on the list are read then you can win an Amazon gift card from the ILC.

Some of the books on the list include: “Eleanor & Park” and “The Selection,” which are a little more girly, but still good reads. Other popular books include “The 5th Wave,” “The Raven Boys” and “Stolen,” which are more suspenseful and will keep readers on their toes while reading every page.

If you’re a more picky reader or don’t like to read because it is “boring,” then consider how satisfying it feels to finish a good and well-known book. Around the world, some of the most popular book series include: “The Hunger Games,” “The Fault in Our Stars,” “Divergent,” “Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “The Giver.”

Series books are all the craze now and even though a lot are being turned into movies, the books are always better. Read to relieve stress or to find another escape that will also educate a reader.
