There are few that have not seen the popular show “iCarly” on Nickelodeon. As a popular culture icon, ¨iCarly¨ has branded a number of items including food and shirts. One staple of the show is the character of Spencer, Carly’s quirky older brother, and his spaghetti tacos. Spencer makes this food and the cast of the show eat the dish regularly, creating a pop culture food that many were eager to try during their childhood. The recipe for spaghetti tacos is simple and easy for people of any cooking talent to complete. A classic take on spaghetti tacos is listed below.


Olive oil


Butter (optional)

Angel hair pasta (one box)

Tomato sauce (half a bottle)

Hard taco shells

Parmesan cheese (optional)



  1. Set six cups in a pot on the stove to boil.
  2. Add two pinches of salt to water.
  3. Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add pasta to the water.
  4. Cook for eight minutes or according to box, stirring occasionally.
  5. Drain pasta, then place it back into the pot.
  6. Add olive oil or butter as desired, approximately 3 tablespoons.
  7. Pour in tomato sauce, mix in.
  8. Scoop the pasta into a hard taco shell.
  9. Garnish with parmesan cheese and taco ingredients as desired.
