The Clemson Tigers look to become first Clemson football team to win the national championship since 1981. The Alabama Crimson Tide look to spoil the undefeated season for Clemson.

The game started off the way any football fan would have loved. Alabama was the team to strike first with a 50 yard run from Heisman winning running back Derrick Henry. Clemson then battled back scoring the next two touchdowns of the game. Alabama then finished off the first half scoring a touchdown tying the score at 14 all. The second half was very exciting with Alabama eventually coming out on top with the score of 45-40.

Senior Griffin Hill who will be playing college football at the University of Minnesota Duluth said, “I wanted Clemson to win because although they are number one ranked team, I feel that everyone is going for Alabama.”

Senior Lauren Slack who will be attending the University of Alabama said, “Football was a big aspect of choosing UA next fall. I am excited for the games and the atmosphere of game day.”
