Welcome back to another week’s edition of DIY Monday.  If this is the first time you’re seeing our DIYs then you should know that here we show you how to create your very own unique and easy crafts that you can do yourself.

This week we’ll be showing you how to make Glitter Slime. As always we need to gather our ingredients that we’ll be using for this DIY.

  1. Mixing bowl or glass baking pan
  2. Fork or spoon
  3. 2 cups
  4.  1/3 cup and 1 teaspoon measuring cups
  5. Glitter or clear gel glue
  6. Borax
  7. Spatula *optional*
This will get messy so using kitchen utensils you don’t use all the time wouldn’t hurt.
After gathering your materials you’re going to start out with making a borax solution. Add 1 teaspoon of borax and 1/3  cup of water into a cup, and stir then together.

Next, you’ll be making the glue mixture. Add the bottle of glue to 1 cup of water and stir them together as well.
Third, add the glue mixture to the pan or bowl you’re using and slowly add in the borax mix, kneading it with your fingers. You can use a spatula, but there will be air pockets in the slime (it will get messy so having paper towels nearby is helpful.) After the slime isn’t stick anymore, it means it’s done!

Now you have your very own glitter slime!

*Tip for Storage* Put your slime in a ziplock bag when you’re not using it so it doesn’t dry out.
