On Thursday, December 1, the boys Varsity basketball team lost in a close game to Mundelein, 72-56. The team has had a rough start to their season, with a current record of 1-3. The team looks forward to the next few opponents and hopes to improve their record.

“It was our first home game of the season, I think what we did really well was pushing the ball up the court. Our transition game worked really well and we had a fast tempo throughout the whole game,” junior Nick Galante said. “We need to slow things down when it starts to get chaotic and move the ball around. When we do that then we get into a good rhythm and we can close the door on teams instead of let them hang around and eventually take the lead.”

The boys have their first home game in the new conference against Wauconda on Saturday, December 3, at 1 p.m.
