Reiser Twins Key to Sequoit Victory Over Wauconda

Sophomore Amy Reiser shoots a three pointer.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the Antioch Community High School girls basketball team clinched another win. Playing at Wauconda, the Sequoits defeated the Bulldogs with a final score of 51-44.

After a very slow start, the Antioch Sequoits managed to outlast the Wauconda Bulldogs.

The sophomore Reiser twins led the way for the Sequoits. Amy had 21 points and Ashley had 9. Senior Shannon Zogran also chipped in a three pointer as well as a free throw.

With the win over the Bulldogs, the Sequoits improve their record to an overall 22-2, 8-0 in the North Suburban Conference.

The Sequoits will try to reach 20 wins in a row at Round Lake High School on Saturday, Jan. 24.
