As the boys headed into their game last night, their energy and emotions were high. They wanted nothing more than to win for their senior night and add another win to their record before playoffs. The game was a constant battle between the two teams as they went back and forth with the ball. The Sequoits’ defense and offense worked hard to keep the ball down field, but the Warhawks were there to stop their attacks.

With a score of 0-0 at halftime, the boys came out with the intensity they needed to score their first goal. Junior Alex Keeler dribbled down the line with a pass to junior Krystian Nikolov for the goal. The Sequoits went up 1-0 with 11 minutes left in the second half.

“Working on communicating and field balance has been a main priority,” senior Eric Ascension said. “We can rely on each other to be there on the field to help accomplish our goal of winning.”

With this win, the Sequoits head into their last game of regular season against the Grayslake North Knights on Thursday, October 5 at Grayslake North.
