The Best of the Best

With basketball season approaching, the players and fans are always looking for the next big accessories to not only to show off, but show off their personality as well. The way many players express themselves is in their footwear; however, they might not know what are the best sneakers out there at the moment. With lots of detailed research on what are the lightest, most supportive to the ankles, comfortable, traction, and of course stylish basketball sneaker of 2016 this is a list of the top 5 to end the searching of new shoes..

(In no ranking order) To kick the list off are Adidas D Lillard 2.0’s. Due to the bounce cushioning, continental rubber traction pattern for durable and awesome traction, a durable and supportive jacquard upper, torsion system for arch support and stable frame for midsole support, these shoes will be great for the upcoming season.

Next is Nikes KD’s. It’s a modified herringbone pattern that looks as if it’s been digitized. Suffice to say, they play really great on every floor. Theres also an adjustment from traditional shoes that makes KD’s even more comfortable.

“I just look for what’s comfortable for me and what will last for a long period of time no matter how much I play in them, and also I look for shoes that aren’t too bulky or heavy,” junior Nick Galante said. So this basketball season Galante may be wearing KD’s on the court.

Following the Nike line are the Hyperdunks. A very common shoe in our past conference. Now this shoe has an advantage above many with the high ankle support that players love. For 2016 the Hyperdunk line released their  Flyknit shoe which can help air your feet out and more relaxed feel overall making the shoe a great option for those seeking comfort the most. Fourth on the list are the Kyrie 2’s. These are great for players constantly having to cut back and forth. These are made for people who lose balance too easily and focus mainly on  traction when they are looking for shoes. Though these shoes do have a downside. If someone that loves the court feel then they will probably fall in love with these. Finally, of course they were gonna be put in the list. We have the Lebron 13’s that can be used for any position, but be a great benefit for the post players. Lebron’s give great ankle support like the Hyperdunks; however, they are a more tougher material at the top of the shoe. You can feel the bounce and responsiveness with every stride, and that is something that was truly lacking with the 12. Overall the Lebron’s are definitely a wise shoe to choose when you’re shopping for your next pair of basketball shoes. All of these sneakers have been reviewed by the best a praised to a great degree. This list hopefully helped bring  a decision on what pair to ball in for this year’s basketball season.
