The Antioch Community High School Varsity field hockey team fell short on Saturday, Sept. 26  with the final score standing 3-0.

“I think we could have worked better together as a team and communicated more,” Senior Alexis Duehr said. “All we need to do is finish at the cage and we’ll be more successful.”

This loss puts the Sequoits at 1-12 for their current record. With eight more games left in the regular season before heading into single elimination playoffs, they hope they can turn things around and catch some momentum heading into this postseason.

“I feel like we can make a strong comeback, we’ve been learning new skills. If we keep our heads up, I think we will be able to do well in the future,” Senior Abbie Lubkeman said.
The field hockey team hopes to turn their season around against rivals, Lakes Community High School on Sept. 29.
