The Sequoits hosted the Grayslake Central Rams at home on Tuesday, September 12. The Sequoits played a well fought match, but fell short to their competitors, ultimately losing 5-2.

“I never doubt that [my team] will play their hardest and never give up,” junior Aubryn Corey said.

As the girls head into their next matches, they plan to minimize their unforced errors. Also they want to focus on their ball placements when near the net which will allow them to be in a better position to get kills.

“It is also important for the team and for myself to remember to stay calm and not get frustrated,” junior Piper Foote said.

Even though the girls did not come out with a victory, they plan to work on their mistakes, stay positive and support each other to be the best that they can. The Sequoits take on Round Lake this Thursday at their home courts.
